Dearest blog followers and those who are too afraid to actually follow;
Today was pretty good! Last night I had youth and waited up until 2am to join in. But as I joined in, the closing prayer was being said. Which was just a tad disappointing.. But that's ok. :) Even though I went to bed really late I still woke up at 6:30 for prayer.
Which, even though it is a bit of a struggle to get myself out of bed I do find that morning prayer is one of my favorite times!
At around 1 Paul, Kath, and Christine went to Norwich for a meeting with the team that will be hosting the awakening summit.
Clare and I stayed and held down the fort. We prayed for a bit together at 4, which was the time of the meeting and we just prayed for the meeting to go well. From what I was told, our prayers worked.
After we prayed, we went into the kitchen and cooked dinner! We made hamburgers, which I have never done before. My family normally gets the patties that are already made and then we just put an already mixed seasoning on top. But I mixed a bunch of seasonings( pretty much whatever Clare suggested) and they all turned out awesome!
I feel like you as the readers of our blog may get tired from the long essays each of us write, so I'll cut it a little shorter tonight.
Have a blessed week, and an even more blessed Easter.
with all my love,
Alyssa.
