Much to my surprise, a handful of times before we are introduced, we have been asked if we are sisters. Our response is, "in the Lord!" And then I get to share that I didn't even know these ladies one month ago! But what a joy it is to journey with these sisters! And what a joy to be in the middle!
In my natural family dynamics, I am the last born, but have often taken responsibility as the first born. So what a change to be in the middle! I LOVE IT!
I have this beautiful older (just slightly) sister, Clare, who encourages me and leads me to act on things that I may be dragging my feet on. Her no nonsense attitude towards this makes her the classic older sister! She's quite the caretaker as well and we often refer to her as "Proverbs 31!"
And then I have this beautiful little sister, Alyssa, who when I spend time with her, my heart is just happy! When I hear her talk about the things of the Lord with the people we meet, and encouraging believers much her senior how God desires to breakthrough in this nation, I am just filled with a sense of sisterly pride, and I want to shout "that's my girl!"
I love them.
As we rest today, please pray that God would recharge us and pour into our hearts as we seek Him. Pray for our hearts to be filled with praise, team unity to be preserved, and of course, direction!
And we bless you, the rest of our sweet family, with the knowledge of God's unending and unfailing love that He freely gives you in abundance. May you encounter God in a new way today! To God be all the glory!
