Hungry for More

Tonight there was a clear hunger and expectation from the group that was gathering in Heathfield for our last Awakening Weekend while on mission together.  Amidst the battles, we pressed on to keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, and to lift high His Name.  He alone is worthy to be praised.

It is clear that the ground here has been being plowed, and the people are ready to go deeper with the Lord.  We pray that the day tomorrow proves to be fruitful, and lives will be recklessly abandoned to the purposes of God.

Paul and Kath Brown, as well as Alison and Keith Hayden have joined us for the work in Heathfield.  So what ever a group of 7 is called, that is what we are for the time being.  Please pray that we would be one in heart and mind as we seek to draw the Presence of God to this area.

Earlier today we met with some others who are key in the work here in the UK.  It was a lovely time of praise, adoration, intercession, and encouragement from our Ugandan brother, Nicodemus.  One of my favorite things about being on mission is joining my heart with the people of England to see the UK transformed.  It brings a global and eternal perspective to the work that God has layed for His people in the Great Commission.

And then I think about the Awakening Weekend that is starting in Cleveland (my hometown) as I write this, and all the people reading this blog who have been praying for our mission all over the world, and I am amazed at the vastness of God and His Body.  That has to be encouraging!  God is alive!  He is active!  He is faithful!  And He's moving, right.this.minute.  Hallelujah!

I'm blessed, and hope you are too.
Christine
