Jesus, all for Jesus, all I am and have, and ever hope to be.
All of my ambitions, hopes, and plans, I surrender these into Your hands
For it's only in Your will that I am free
Jesus, all for Jesus, all I am and have, and ever hope to be.
After a day filled with prayer in the morning and fun adventuring in the afternoon, we had a bit of team time to catch up. It was a long overdue time just to see how everyone was doing. It didn't take long to realize we were all feeling a little pressed in some way. We are mostly experiencing tiny pangs of disappointment/discouragement, with some minor miscommunications. The good part is, we are learning to trust the Lord in all things, and to not be knocked out of a place of faith when things don't look as we expected. Nothing horribly disappointing has happened, we just want so much to see God breakthrough! We don't want to be satisfied with little fruitsies here and there, we want God to get His bushels full!
And so we press on.
We choose to walk by faith and not by sight.
Love you all through Christ, who first loved me. Bless you!
Christine
I know that I've said it several times --- but I love your hearts to seek the Way. He is the only Way and it is a difficult but amazing path. Keep Going!
ReplyDeleteAnd jsyk-- I have literally been singing that very song ALL day -- I love the way that the Holy Spirit IS spirit and can lead hearts together in some of the most subtle ways that we usually never know about. He is a GOOD God.
Ladies, I am daily encouraged by reading your blog! May God's glory continue to be revealed to you and all you encounter!
